SERVICES

AirMod Architecture is a full service architecture and interior design firm.

Our firm is celebrating 5 years of operating in Seattle. We work closely and collaboratively with our clients to design green homes that are modern, friendly, and feel at home in the Pacific Northwest.

Whether you are tearing down and rebuilding on an urban parcel, or starting from undeveloped property, we expertly evaluate the site and coordinate a team of consultants remove any obstacles to building. We work closely with you through the design process, manage everything with the jurisdiction, and help set you up with a contractor.

We bring to you our expertise in green building on a budget, as well as prefab construction options from cedar kits to full box modules (inspiring our firm name). We are also experienced in the design and logistics of backyard cottages.

Process

Our design process often begins with hand-drawn plan sketches and perspectives, often congealing into an agreed-upon scheme after 3 or 4 iterations of design, at which point we move to hard-lined drawings and resolve the concept over several more iterations, soliciting feedback at each step. We provide detailed, walk-through building models showing everything, from windows & doors to cabinetry and casework, window trims, and every fixture, so there are no surprises. During the process we help you find a builder and collaborate with them early on. [More…]
